About

Self-taught engineer with fifteen years of running operations — agriculture, engineering offices, residential property — and a habit of replacing the manual parts with software. Today that means a self-hosted platform of fourteen applications: one TypeScript monorepo, Postgres behind every app, containers on a single well-kept host, and no piece of it I cannot rebuild from a backup.

The pattern goes back further than the platform. Every operation I have run ended up with software in it — reporting that replaced paper, a materials database for 3D models, a storage server, a project tracker fitted to the office that needed it. The current work is the same instinct with better tools: one monorepo, typed end to end, tests that pin the rules that cost money when they break, and deployments that refuse rather than hope.
